Senior Recruitment Consultant
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, plus uncapped commission
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

MedicsPro is looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our healthcare recruitment team in Romford.
This is a hands-on billing role combining candidate management, client development, and business development with additional responsibility for mentoring junior colleagues and supporting wider team performance.
You will continue developing your own recruitment activity while strengthening client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting the Team Leader when required. The position would suit a proven agency recruiter who wants greater responsibility while continuing to grow their personal revenue and earning potential.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and developing a successful healthcare recruitment desk
- Sourcing, engaging, and placing healthcare professionals
- Building strategic relationships with new and existing clients
- Developing accounts and identifying new commercial opportunities
- Negotiating rates and managing commercial discussions
- Monitoring candidate pipelines, bookings, and revenue performance
- Mentoring and supporting Recruitment Consultants and Trainees
- Sharing recruitment knowledge and best practice with colleagues
- Contributing to team performance and business growth
- Supporting and deputising for the Team Leader when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven agency recruitment experience
- A strong record of candidate and client development
- Demonstrable business development and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience working towards revenue and performance targets
- The ability to mentor and support less experienced recruiters
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
- Healthcare recruitment experience would be beneficial but is not essential
