Senior Recruitment Consultant - London
Warm Finance Desk
Our partner - WPR Group are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team in London. They are focused on the London insurance market and are partnered with leading insurers, brokers, and MGAs, delivering high-quality talent solutions across underwriting, broking, claims, and operations.
The Role
We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join the team to develop a warm desk within the insurance market with a focus on Finance roles. This is a 360 role with immediate access to existing client relationships, live roles, and candidate networks - giving you the platform to generate revenue from day one, while continuing to grow and develop your own desk.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established desk with active clients and ongoing requirements
- Build on existing relationships while identifying and winning new business opportunities
- Source, engage, and manage high-quality candidates within the insurance market
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to placement
- Provide consultative advice to both clients and candidates
- Negotiates terms, fees, and offers
- Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of opportunities
Requirements
- 5 years recruitment experience essential (insurance market experience is advantageous)
- Strong business development skills or the ambition to build them further
- Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue generation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and resilient
