Salary: Up to £40k Base + Uncapped 20% Commission + Bonuses

OCB Talent is the specialist recruitment arm of established bid consultancy, Ocean City Bids. We're looking for an experienced 360 recruiter to take day-to-day ownership of and lead the OCB Talent service, build our presence in the UK Bid & Work Winning recruitment market and help shape how the service develops.

We help organisations win contracts and work through a dual-service approach: Specialist Talent Solutions (Hiring in-house Temp, Contract, Perm bid professionals) and Specialist Consultancy Services (Bid management, Strategy, Writing).
We're a growing specialist consultancy rather than a high-volume recruitment agency. You'll work directly with the business owners, have a genuine voice in how OCB Talent develops and be trusted to build relationships rather than follow a rigid agency script.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to build and scale our specialist recruitment function within the Bid, Proposal, Tender, and Work Winning sectors. Operating with full remote autonomy, you will run full-lifecycle 360 recruitment while cross-selling bid consulting services.
You won't be building from a blank sheet. OCB Talent sits within an established bid consultancy with an existing UK client network, established brand presence and direct access to senior bid professionals and hiring organisations.
As OCB Talent grows, we expect this role to develop with it. The successful person will have the opportunity to help shape the future structure of the recruitment team and could progress into broader leadership responsibility as the division scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Execute targeted outbound BD (calls, LinkedIn outreach, networking) to secure new client accounts across private and public sectors.
- Candidate Delivery: Headhunt, resource, and pipeline specialist talent across Bid, Proposal, and Work Winning disciplines.
- Wider OCB Offerings: Identify client bid challenges and qualify/introduce consultancy leads to wider OCB team.
- Service Ownership: Manage end-to-end recruitment workflows from job specification to placement.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience managing a full 360 recruitment lifecycle, ideally across permanent and/or professional contract/interim recruitment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and proactively progressing activity while working collaboratively with the wider leadership team.
- Proven track record in outbound business development and account acquisition.
- UK-Based: Must live in the UK with full Right to Work in the UK.
- Self-starter capable of operating autonomously in a remote setup.

- Base Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum.
