Sheffield

Hybrid working available after training (up to 2 days working from home per week)
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 per annum plus commission paid 4 weekly

Build your own Engineering & Manufacturing desk with the backing of a successful, growing team.

Due to continued success and growth, we're expanding our Sheffield Engineering & Manufacturing team and are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to help drive the next phase of growth.

This is an opportunity to build and develop your own specialist desk across the North of England while benefiting from the support of a high-performing and profitable team. You'll have the autonomy to shape your market, grow your client base and establish yourself as a specialist within the sector, backed by Reed's trusted brand, strong leadership and extensive network.

You'll be joining a team with a proven track record of success and developing recruiters, including producing Reed's No.1 Newcomers. Whether you're already recruiting within Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical or another specialist market, this is a fantastic opportunity to build something of your own while learning from a team that's already delivering excellent results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and growing an Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment desk across the North
  • Building relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Winning new business and identifying growth opportunities
  • Sourcing and placing high-quality engineering professionals
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy brief through to placement
  • Working closely with experienced colleagues to maximise opportunities across the region

Who We're Looking For

  • Recruitment experience is essential
  • A strong business developer who enjoys building client relationships and winning new business
  • Commercially focused with a track record of growing business and delivering results
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and motivated by earning potential and career progression
  • Experience within Engineering, Manufacturing or another technical market would be advantageous

A full UK driving licence is required due to the geographic coverage of the territory.
