Description

The Senior Consultant role sits within Davies Talent Solutions, the commercial recruitment consultancy within Davies Group. Together with your wider team, you will identify high-quality candidates for a variety of our clients across Financial Services, Insurance, Technology & Life Sciences and other regulated markets.

In addition to your responsibilities within Specialist Services, you will collaborate with colleagues across the wider consulting teams to deliver a broader range of solutions to support our clients' needs.

This role is hybrid with weekly office attendance and client visits to London (and elsewhere in the UK) required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in 360 recruitment; sourcing, building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and new clients and candidates.
  • Create and nurture a strong talent community through advertising, interviewing and keeping in touch, using a variety of channels - job boards, LinkedIn, networking events, etc.
  • Actively listen to clients, understanding requirements and employer value propositions.
  • Proactively target new business opportunities, utilizing cross-selling and new business development techniques.
  • Build strong market knowledge of our vertical markets, sharing critical market information with the broader team.
  • Support Clients with a broader set of challenges across technology, learning, insurance and financial services.
  • Develop your knowledge of the wider consulting business areas.
  • Demonstrating our values and behaviours to ensure we are providing a best-in-class candidate and client experience.
  • Mentor, train & coach junior consultants.

  • Previous experience in a revenue-generating recruitment role within Insurance.
  • Confident contract / temporary recruitment experience.
  • Strong business development and candidate engagement skills.
  • Demonstrable expertise in reaching out to, and winning business with new clients in the insurance market.
  • Strong customer-orientation; consultative and authentic approach.
  • Self-motivated and hard-working.
  • Strong active listening and confident communication skills.
  • Genuinely passionate about recruitment and providing high-quality solutions for both candidates and clients.
  • Resilient, tenacious, curious.
  • Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback.
