Job: Senior Recruitment Consultant

Kura | Belfast

Kura is hiring a mid-level to senior Recruitment Consultant to help build the technical teams behind healthcare technology.

We're young, we're ambitious, and we've deliberately gone niche. We believe there's real power in being sector-specific - in building a genuine community and becoming the go-to recruitment partner for technology companies in this space.

This is our most important hire. You'll join as employee #2 and help shape what Kura becomes.

Joining a start-up is unlike anything else. The skills and experience you gain here - as a recruiter and as a person are ten-fold. The creativity, the lengths you go to and the wins you'll celebrate along the way, all of it happens at a different pace than in a traditional, established agency.

We're looking for a true '360' recruiter - a builder, someone who gets as much of a kick out of a business development win as a placement, and who sees a challenge as a reason to lean in, not step back.

What you'll do

  • Business development: Create opportunities through strategic BD, investing in relationships built for the long term, not the next invoice.
  • Candidate management: Identify and build real relationships with high-quality candidates.
  • Own the process: Manage recruitment end-to-end, giving clients and candidates clarity, confidence, and a positive experience throughout.
  • Community: Help grow Healthcare Builders, our peer network for healthcare innovators in-person events, podcasting, attending industry events, and volunteering at school career days hosted by Kura.
  • Recruitment marketing: Build your personal brand on social, grow the community around it, and share content that adds value.
  • Database hygiene: Keep candidate and client records accurate, current, and genuinely usable, not just populated.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who this isn't for

If you do your best work with a steady pipeline someone else built, or you need things already set up and running before you can perform - this role won't suit you, and honestly, neither will this stage of company. We're small. There's no one else to hand the hard parts to. That's the trade-off, and we'd rather you know it going in.
