Senior Recruitment Consultant – Finance or Tax
London | Hybrid | UK or US Market
I’m partnering with a highly regarded, independent SME recruitment business in London that has built a genuinely collaborative culture, an excellent reputation, and a strong platform for continued growth.
They are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in Finance or Tax recruitment to join an already successful division and play a key role in its next stage of development.
This is an opportunity to build on something that is already working not start from zero. You’ll have the support, resources, and market credibility of an established business, alongside the freedom and autonomy to develop your desk in the direction that best suits your expertise.
Depending on your network and ambitions, you could focus on expanding across the UK market, developing the firm’s presence in the US, or creating a blended international desk.
The opportunity
You will be joining a business that values experienced recruiters and gives them the space to operate as trusted specialists. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop meaningful client relationships, and help shape the future growth of the Finance or Tax division.

What you’ll be doing
- Growing and managing a specialist Finance or Tax recruitment desk
- Building long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Developing opportunities across the UK, US, or both markets
- Managing the full recruitment process from business development through to placement
- Becoming a trusted adviser to candidates and hiring managers
- Identifying new market opportunities and contributing to the division’s growth strategy
What they’re looking for
- Proven experience within Finance, Accountancy, or Tax recruitment
- A strong understanding of your specialist market
- A successful track record in business development and candidate delivery
- The confidence to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders
- A commercial, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- An interest in building something meaningful and progressing with the business
