Responsibilities:

  • Confidently execute business development activity, pulling jobs from existing and new clients monthly
  • Continue to develop commercial awareness of business development processes and strategize business growth within your specialist area with minimal direction from your Team Lead
  • Confidently engage in client negotiations (where required) to establish desirable terms with automotive or related clients.
  • Consulting with our global clients to provide specialist headhunting services for a variety of complex technical vacancies.
  • Successfully run your own 360 recruitment desk by actively building client and candidate networks in your very own niche technical arena.
  • Generating new business leads and proactively conduct outbound business development including cold calling and implementing sales techniques.
  • Maintaining a highly efficient and organised desk when organising candidate calls, interviews, and new business meetings.
  • Conducting active candidate searches using a variety of methods (LinkedIn, Job boards, CRM, and other databases).
  • Qualifying candidates’ suitability in line with detailed technical job briefings taken from clients.
  • Effectively manage communications between candidates, clients and Akkar to promote a positive experience for all parties.
  • Attend international conferences and conduct onsite client visits in order to grow and utilise your business network in person.

We’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment/sales environment with an existing understanding of international recruitment processes
  • Proven results from business development and client negotiations, having brought new clients on with commercial terms agreed
  • Demonstrable billings
  • Inquisitive, entrepreneurial, and proactive individuals who are hungry for success.
  • The desire to embrace a consultative sales environment with a positive mindset.
  • Comfortable working to KPIs at an individual & team level in a high-performance environment.
  • High level of personal accountability with a creative “get-the-job-done” and “lead from the front” attitude.
  • Excellent rapport building and interpersonal relationship skills to achieve a targeted and consultative approach.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous approach to day-to-day activities with a great attention to detail.
  • The ability to show resilience and bounce back from setbacks with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Long-term commitment to a career in recruitment/sales and ambition to progress within this.
