Technical Senior Recruiter – South West
£37,000 - £45,000 basic DOE + commission
Existing Client Work
No Cold Business Development
I'm working with an established and successful recruitment business looking to add an experienced recruiter to their specialist technical team.
This is a slightly different opportunity from a traditional 360 recruitment position.
The role will focus on managing and delivering recruitment into an established client relationship, with no expectation to cold business develop or win new clients.
You'll be recruiting predominantly permanent positions, alongside some contract requirements, across specialist areas within Electronic Engineering and Embedded Technology.
The role will involve:
- Managing recruitment requirements for an established client.
- Taking and understanding specialist technical briefs.
- Proactively sourcing and headhunting niche technical candidates.
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Building specialist talent networks.
- Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Providing a high-quality, consultative recruitment service.

What we are looking for:
You will have previous recruitment experience (3 years +) within areas such as:
- Electronic Engineering
- Embedded Software / Firmware
- FPGA
- Semiconductors
- Hardware
- Other closely related technical/engineering markets
You don't necessarily need experience across all of these areas, but a genuine understanding of specialist technical recruitment is important.

The role will require a combination of office (Bristol), home and 1 day working onsite with client down South, so weekly travel will be required.
Due to the nature of the clients supported, applicants will also need to be eligible to obtain the relevant UK security clearance.
This could be a great opportunity for an experienced technical recruiter who enjoys the actual recruitment, headhunting and relationship side of the job.
