Senior Recruitment Consultant – Four-Day Week

Location: Bristol, Aztec West

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday, 10:00am–8:00pm

Salary: £30,000–£40,000 DOE

Commission: Uncapped, up to 30%

Altius Talent is hiring an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Bristol team. We specialise in recruitment across the US freight forwarding and logistics market. You’ll inherit an established desk with existing clients, live opportunities, and access to a substantial candidate network.

This is a genuine four-day working week. You’ll work Monday to Thursday and have every Friday off—giving you a three-day weekend every week without sacrificing your career or earning potential.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and developing an established recruitment desk
  • Building relationships with freight forwarding and logistics businesses across the USA
  • Winning new vacancies and expanding existing client accounts
  • Sourcing, interviewing, and representing specialist candidates
  • Managing recruitment processes from initial introduction through to placement
  • Negotiating offers and closing deals
  • Developing your market through targeted business development

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within a 360 role
  • A consistent record of generating revenue and making placements
  • Confidence developing new and existing client relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • A self-motivated and commercially driven approach
  • The ability to manage your own desk without being micromanaged

Experience recruiting within freight, logistics, or the US market would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential.
