I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we're looking for:
We want experienced consultants who either already have a track record within one of our key markets - Microsoft Dynamics D365, SAP, ERP and Data Centre recruitment are just a few areas we specialise in - or are open to pivoting their market/into contract tech recruitment and bringing their transferable skills with them.
- Proven 360 billers with strong BD instincts - you can win new logos as comfortably as you manage existing accounts, and you know how to create opportunities
- Relationship-driven consultants who understand the pace, the margins and the long-term trust needed to build lasting client and candidate relationships
- Senior consultants ready for a bigger platform - you're already billing at a high level and want the scope to prove you can go further, whether that's growing your own desk or stepping into leadership
