Senior Recruitment Consultant – AI & Data – Healthcare & Life Sciences
Discover International is searching for an experienced recruitment consultant to join our newly formed AI & Data team.
We're a specialist healthcare and life sciences recruitment business — founded in 2013, eight offices across the US, UK and Europe, and more than 800 active clients spanning big pharma, biotech, medtech, CRO/CDMO and digital health. Life sciences is the only industry we recruit into, and it has been for over a decade.
AI and data in healthcare is expanding at an exponential rate. Analysts put the AI-in-life-sciences market on a growth rate of roughly 19% a year through the next decade, and the pipeline data backs it up: 117 AI-enabled therapeutic assets across 63 companies were in human trials as of late 2025, against roughly two dozen clinical-stage AI-designed programmes in late 2023. Around $60bn has gone into AI drug discovery since 2019, and 2025 alone saw 114 pharma–AI partnership deals worth up to $43.4bn. Whether it's AI transformation inside big pharma or a fast-growing AI-powered diagnostics start-up, the hiring demand is real and it is not slowing down.

What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of 360 recruitment experience
- A proven track record of winning new clients
- Someone excited to map out and grow a market from the front
- Ambitious, tenacious, and happy to take the initiative
Competitive base and commission structure, clear progression, and a business with a track record of promoting from within.
