Location: Manchester Reports to: Kiera Market focus: UK – AI Software

AI recruitment is the market every tech agency claims to have cracked, but few teams are set up to be able to deliver like ours. Our AI team in the UK is already one of Cubiq’s largest by headcount and revenue, and we're confident we're one of, if not the most trusted and relied upon AI recruitment team in the country.

That trust is turning into real momentum. We’re being approached, largely through word-of-mouth, by companies most tech agencies would give an arm to represent, and growing the team with its fifth hire this year alone to keep pace.

For you, that means a market moving faster than most recruiters can keep up with, and a network and reputation already respected before you’ve made a single call.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join the AI team and own software recruitment across the UK’s AI ecosystem.

The role, your team, and Cubiq

Between the members of our AI team, we cover the core AI disciplines end to end, giving clients a genuinely well-rounded solution.

The UK team’s led by Kiera, who’s already well connected in AI talent circles. She runs her own community events, is a regular voice on podcasts and webinars, and brings in a huge amount of inbound on word-of-mouth and reputation. The whole team approaches business development as a unit rather than individuals chasing the same clients, which is a big part of why their hit rate is so strong.

Our way of working is to go deep into specialist markets and stay there, until clients treat us as partners rather than another agency on the PSL. For us, recruitment is a career worth committing to, and we bring aboard people who want to own a discipline, become the go-to name in it, and build something they’re genuinely proud of.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What a top performer looks like

The people who do best here are consistent, strong on business development, and treat their market like it’s theirs to own. They’re comfortable in deeply technical conversations, and that’s a big part of why clients and candidates trust them.

They grow their desk by winning new clients and turning them into repeat business, backed by a healthy pipeline. They move quickly, prioritise well, and judge themselves on results, and they’re rewarded here for it.

Over time they become the go-to name in AI software recruitment in the UK, someone clients trust and candidates want to hear from. That comes down to knowing where the best people are, how to reach them, and how to put an opportunity in front of them in a way that lands.

Perks and benefits

  • A share scheme allowing you to own a share of what you build
  • A strong base, plus uncapped commission with no threshold, up to 50%
  • A quarterly scheme that accelerates through the year
  • Clear routes to directorship as you grow
  • Real investment in getting you embedded in the market, conferences, our own events, and time with clients face to face
  • An established, high-performing team and genuine inbound demand to build from day one

Don't see something that matters to you? Let us know. We’re committed to bringing in the best and will be flexible with our offering if it brings us closer to achieving this.
