Senior Recruitment Consultant – AI & Technology | Life Sciences

Our client is a globally established life sciences recruitment business with teams across multiple international locations. Over the next three years, they're executing a clear growth strategy ahead of a planned capital event, with a major part of that strategy centred around significantly expanding their Technology practice.
As a result, they're looking to hire a Senior Recruitment Consultant to become the second person in what is set to become one of the business's most important divisions.
The Opportunity
You'll specialise in placing AI and Machine Learning professionals into Europe's rapidly expanding Digital Health, HealthTech, MedTech and wider Life Sciences markets. The desk combines retained and contingent recruitment, partnering with innovative start-ups, scale-ups and established organisations investing heavily in AI to transform healthcare. Alongside Digital Health, you'll also recruit technology professionals into Sponsor Finance and adjacent investment-backed businesses, giving you exposure to multiple high-growth markets. With average fees of around £20,000, this is a genuinely high-value desk where quality matters more than volume.

We're Looking For
You'll already be operating as a successful 360 recruiter and enjoy winning new business. We're open on sector background, but you'll need:
- Strong business development skills and a track record of winning clients.
- Experience running a full 360 recruitment desk.
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and building long-term partnerships.
- A commercial mindset and ambition to help build something.
- The drive to operate in a high-value, specialist market.

Previous experience recruiting technology, AI, software engineering or life sciences talent would be advantageous but isn't essential.
