This isn't simply about finding someone with a particular number of years in recruitment. They're looking for credible, intelligent and commercially minded recruiters who understand how to develop senior-level client relationships and operate in a genuinely consultative way.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Ideally, you'll already be performing at a level where you're billing – or have demonstrated the capability to bill – approximately £300k–£400k per annum.
Experience within one of their existing specialist markets would naturally be attractive, but they are also particularly interested in recruiters from the broader Change & Transformation space whose experience could complement the existing business.
You'll likely be someone who:
- Has a strong track record in 360 recruitment
- Can demonstrate consistent personal billings and business development
- Is comfortable engaging with senior-level clients and candidates
- Takes a consultative rather than transactional approach to recruitment
- Understands how to build and develop a specialist market
- Has the credibility to advise clients rather than simply take job specifications
- Wants to join a business where market knowledge and long-term relationships genuinely matter

The opportunity
You'll be joining a highly specialised recruitment business with an established international client base and a track record of successfully recruiting within niche technology and transformation markets.
The company has built its reputation around specialist market knowledge and long-term client partnerships, with repeat business forming an important part of its success.
For an experienced recruiter, this offers the opportunity to work within an established platform rather than having to build everything from scratch, while still having the autonomy to develop your own market and client relationships.
This could particularly suit a successful Senior Consultant looking for the platform to move towards Principal level, or an established Principal who wants to work in a specialist, credible and consultative recruitment environment.
