Senior Recruitment Consultant – Construction & Engineering
UK-wide | Fully Remote
Up to £50,000 basic salary + high commission
Permanent People are working with a specialist recruitment business looking to hire an experienced permanent recruiter anywhere in the UK.
This is a genuinely remote opportunity offering considerable autonomy, experienced leadership and the freedom to manage and grow your desk without being micromanaged.
The business specialises in white-collar Construction and Engineering recruitment, with established markets across:
- Development and Design
- Construction Delivery
- Civil and Structural Engineering
- Building Services
- Infrastructure and related technical disciplines

You’ll need to be an experienced permanent recruiter who:
- Currently recruits within Construction or Engineering
- Has a consistent billing history of around £200,000+ per year
- Can demonstrate credibility within a specialist market
- Is confident developing new and existing client relationships
- Can manage their own time, activity and pipeline effectively
- Works well with autonomy and doesn’t require constant supervision
The opportunity
- Fully remote working from anywhere in the UK
- Basic salary of up to £50,000, depending on billings and experience
- Strong commission and earning potential
- A flexible salary model that rewards performance
- Regular support and access to senior leadership
- 5% employer pension contribution
- 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays

- Access to the Glasgow office and selected co-working locations

The sector requirement is more flexible for recruiters who can commute to the Glasgow office.
If you’re a successful permanent recruiter from another professional or technical market, the business may be open to supporting your move into Construction and Engineering.
