Description
As a Senior Consultant in Davies Talent Solutions, you will support specialist temporary / contract recruitment across a wide range of external clients; predominantly in the Insurance & Financial services industries.
This role is considered a 360-recruitment role, meaning you will be responsible for both client business development and relationship management, as well as candidate generation and delivery, however you will focus on the candidate management side in the first few months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has commenced their agency-recruitment career and is looking to work for a boutique-esque Insurance-focused Recruitment Agency but with the backing and reputation of a long-standing service provider in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management:
- Source, build and develop strong candidate pipelines through multiple channels including networking, proactive outreach on LinkedIn, role advertisements and referral schemes
- Work alongside colleagues to understand and subsequently sell client requirements and elevator pitches to relevant candidates
- Practice active listening skills to ascertain candidate strengths and areas of opportunities, ability to articulate to clients and colleagues alike.
- Coach and advice candidates on resume writing, interviewing and skills testing.
- Continuously build on your market knowledge, sharing information with broader team where relevant
- Develop your knowledge of the wider consulting business areas

Clients:
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through outreach and cold calling
- Build credible relationships with internal stakeholders to support cross selling activities
- Consult and advise clients on candidate market peaks & troughs
- Qualify roles to identify possible market traction, pre-empting any barriers / hurdles
- Thoroughly understand client requirements and be able to match best-quality candidates
- Conduct weekly, monthly or quarterly update calls with clients to discuss recruitment projects and ascertain ROI from utilising Davies Talent Solutions services.
- Identify and confidently cross-sell wider consulting and recruitment services (with time)

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous experience in agency recruitment or business development, a must!
- Insurance industry work experience, essential
- Highly motivated to deliver high quality outcomes for candidates, clients and the wider Davies Consulting team
- Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs
- Confident communicator, strong active listening skills
- Resilient and tenacious in the face of rejection
- Curious, and eager to continuously learn, hone and improve sales, time & relationship management skills
- Happy to work autonomously and independently but towards a team goal or objective
This role can be London or Brighton based
