Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The desk covers permanent HR appointments up to around £70,000. You can also work on interim, fixed-term and more senior retained assignments.

Senior leaders generate much of the business and pass opportunities to consultants. You then own the client and candidate relationships and manage the full recruitment process.

This is a grown-up environment. Nobody will monitor every call or demand five CVs for the sake of it. You will be trusted to manage your time.

The package includes:

  • £30,000-£35,000
  • 25 days’ holiday.
  • Three additional Christmas closure days.
  • Private medical insurance after probation.
  • Monthly gym allowance after probation.
  • Pension contribution.
  • Quarterly meals and team events.

You will need solid agency recruitment experience and the confidence to manage your own desk. HR experience would help, but strong recruitment judgement and relationship skills matter more.

You can remain a hands-on biller. You do not need to manage a team.
