Senior Education Recruitment Consultant (SEND)
Hybrid / Remote | September Start | £35,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Bonus
About the Role
Chalk Education is looking for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant to join our growing SEND team.
We specialise in recruiting teachers and support staff for SEND schools, alternative provisions and mainstream schools across the UK. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and providing an excellent service to both schools and candidates.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home and the office, depending on your location. You'll be given the autonomy to run your own desk while being supported by an experienced management team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own recruitment desk.
- Building relationships with new and existing schools.
- Winning new business through business development.
- Recruiting teachers and support staff for temporary and permanent vacancies.
- Interviewing and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Matching candidates to suitable vacancies.
- Providing a professional and consultative service to schools and candidates.
- Working towards individual and team targets.

What We're Looking For
- A minimum of three years' education recruitment experience.
- A successful track record in business development and sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Well organised with good attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
- Resilient with a positive attitude.
- A genuine interest in SEND education.
SEND recruitment experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £50,000 basic salary depending on experience.
- Uncapped bonus scheme.
