PLEASE NOTE: Our client is only considering candidates that are working in a recruitment consultancy and placing people within Renewable Energy / Oil & Gas.

Our client is an exciting recruitment company that has been operating for a number of years and has a focus on finding professionals for the Energy, Utilities, Renewables, and Technology sectors.

  • They have seen steady growth and have a great client base within the UK and internationally.

Due to demand, they are currently looking to grow out their Renewable energy team with an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Manager that can run their own desk as a Billing leader and has a strong background within Energy recruitment. Ideally, you will have experience of working in the US Market where they see a huge potential for someone to come in, manage an existing small team, and grow the business over the next few years. They have a clear strategy to invest in this area and want someone that can help with the strategy for the US, identify clients and opportunities, and be excited about building out the business in that area.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
