Senior Finance Recruitment Consultant
Manchester city centre, hybrid, three office days
£40,000-£50,000 basic salary plus commission up to 40%
About the Role
Take ownership of Finance recruitment within an established Financial and Professional Services business.
- You will have the freedom to develop the desk your way, supported by a recognised brand, extensive client relationships, live Finance vacancies, an established Manchester team and the recruitment tools needed to do the job properly.

- Commission rising to 40%, calculated quarterly and paid in monthly instalments.

- Hybrid working, with Tuesday to Thursday in Manchester and Monday and Friday remote.
- Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, outreach technology and AI tools.
- The opportunity to hire and develop a Finance team once the desk is established.
- Clear progression towards Principal Consultant, Business Manager or Director.

About You
This is not a finished desk producing £150k without effort. Around half of the initial focus will be on re-engaging existing relationships, developing SME clients and rebuilding the firm’s presence across regional Finance.
You will not be starting alone. The wider platform, clients, brand, technology, adjacent specialist teams and some immediate Finance work are already there.
You are likely to suit this opportunity if you:
- Have established Finance and Accountancy recruitment experience.
- Understand the market from transactional and qualified Finance through to senior appointments.
- Can win business and develop lasting client relationships.
- Prefer ownership and autonomy over close KPI management.
- Want the platform to build something substantial, with the option to grow a team around you.
