Are you an experienced Public Sector Recruiter looking for the flexibility of a fully home-based role, whilst still being part of a collaborative, high-performing team?
Opus People Solutions is seeking an ambitious and driven Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Specialist Solutions Team, focusing on public sector recruitment across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who understands the public sector landscape and wants the autonomy to grow a specialist desk whilst benefiting from an established brand, strong delivery support and a culture built around collaboration and success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and growing a specialist permanent recruitment desk within the public sector.
- Building relationships with Local Authorities, NHS organisations, Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Housing Associations, Educational establishments and wider public sector bodies.
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement.
- Building and maintaining networks of high-quality candidates.
- Conducting candidate interviews and assessments.
- Creating innovative attraction strategies to engage talent.
- Developing long-term client partnerships and becoming a trusted adviser within your market.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in public sector recruitment is essential.
- Track record of billing success within permanent recruitment.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication, influencing and networking abilities.
- A proactive, resilient and commercially minded approach.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service to clients and candidates.
