Recruitment Consultant
We’re looking for an adaptable Recruitment Consultant who can recruit across a range of roles, functions and sectors while developing expertise in a specialist market.
You’ll support recruitment needs across the wider business, working closely with colleagues to understand different briefs and deliver successful placements. Alongside this, you’ll build your own specialism, developing strong market knowledge, candidate networks and client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process, from taking a brief and sourcing candidates through to interviews, offers and placement.
- Recruit across the wider business, adapting to different roles, levels of seniority and changing priorities.
- Develop a specialist sector or discipline, becoming a trusted source of market insight and recruitment advice.
- Build relationships with clients and candidates, understanding their needs and providing clear, consistent communication.
- Proactively source and engage candidates through networking, referrals, advertising and direct approaches.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
- Collaborate with colleagues, sharing candidates, market knowledge and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and work towards agreed activity, placement and revenue targets.

- Recruitment experience, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Confidence taking on unfamiliar briefs, asking the right questions and quickly understanding new markets.
- An interest in building a specialism while remaining flexible enough to support opportunities across the business.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, commercially aware approach and a commitment to delivering a good candidate and client experience.
- A collaborative mindset, taking ownership of individual results while contributing to the team’s success.
