Senior Recruitment Consultant
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE £65,000+)
Location: Manchester City Centre
Twenty-five years in the market. Eight brands. Offices in Manchester, Austin and Tampa. This isn't a desk you inherit. It's one you shape.
What you'll do
- Own full-cycle recruitment across your client base, from brief to offer
- Drive sourcing strategies that get you to the talent your competitors can't reach
- Grow a team underneath you from day one, with real ownership over how it's built
Who this suits
You've billed consistently, you know your market, and you're tired of being told what your ceiling is. You want the autonomy to build something rather than slot into someone else's structure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Oscar
Twenty-five years in the market, eight specialist brands, four offices across Manchester, Austin and Tampa. That longevity matters for two reasons: the client relationships are already there when you pick up the phone, and the business has survived enough market cycles to know what it's doing in a downturn.
We're a specialist firm, not a generalist one. Consultants here build genuine market expertise rather than chasing whatever's live that week.
