We’re looking for an ambitious AHP Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Milton Keynes and help grow our Allied Health Professionals division.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already understands healthcare recruitment and wants to develop within the AHP market, or an experienced recruiter with a strong sales background who is looking to move into a busy and rewarding healthcare sector.
You’ll be responsible for developing relationships with both clients and candidates, building your own desk, and placing high-quality AHP professionals into temporary and/or permanent roles across the UK.
Depending on your experience, there may already be an existing client and candidate base for you to develop, alongside plenty of opportunity to generate new business and grow your desk.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and managing a successful AHP recruitment desk
- Developing relationships with NHS Trusts, private healthcare organisations, and other healthcare clients
- Sourcing and engaging AHP candidates across a range of specialisms
- Managing candidates throughout the full recruitment process
- Working closely with compliance teams to ensure candidates are cleared and ready to work
- Matching available candidates to suitable vacancies and shifts
- Generating new business and developing existing client accounts
- Negotiating rates and commercial terms
- Maintaining regular contact with clients and candidates
- Working towards individual and team revenue targets

Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
