Why This Role Exists
If you're a contract recruiter with a strong book, the real question is: why would you leave? Usually it's not because things are bad - it's because there's nowhere left to grow. Your accounts are solid but opportunity is capped. You're bringing in great business, but someone else is taking the credit, or the split. You've proven you can win, but you're still being told how. And naturally, commission schemes may need looking at to better reward and earn.
This role is for someone ready to stop managing a desk and start building a market - with a strong backing, genuine autonomy, and a commission structure that actually rewards it.
What's In It For You
- Keep more of what you generate. 50/50 split as standard on any cross-vertical business — win a deal, and if someone else fills it in a different specialism, you both get fees apportioned fairly and properly. Here - No one's precious about "my client, my desk."
- A real annual kicker. Hit your GP and booking target and earn an additional bonus on your entire year's invoicing that's the difference between a good year and an exceptional one.
- Financial protection while you build. Moving means walking away from commission on business you've already won. For the right person with a genuine, provable book, there's a guarantee to bridge that gap.
- Genuine autonomy. You come in as the specialist — your plan, your market knowledge, your relationships — and you're trusted to run it. Not micromanaged, not scripted.
- A manager who invests in your growth, not just your numbers. In their own words: "I want people to succeed and grow... helping someone self-develop is some of the best success I've had."
- A culture that shares clients rather than hoards them - the teams that collaborate definitely come out stronger than ones that don't.
- International scope, with real appetite to build out DACH, Scandinavia and wider Europe alongside an already fast-growing US arm.
- A clear route upward as the business invests in new verticals, new regions, and structured leadership training.
- Flexible location - 2 days Brighton preferred, but remote genuinely on the table for the right person.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
