Senior Recruitment Consultant – Life Sciences (Fully Remote)

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Uncapped Commission (25% on all billings)

About the Role

Looking for a recruitment role where you're trusted to deliver, paid exceptionally well, and left to get on with what you do best?

We're partnering with a privately owned, specialist life sciences recruitment business that's built around one simple philosophy: hire great recruiters, treat them like adults, and reward them properly.

The business is owned and operated by two experienced recruiters who remain hands-on in the company. With a team of three and plans to grow to around 20 people over the coming years, they're now looking to hire an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join the journey.

This isn't a business driven by KPIs, call targets, or micromanagement. It's a mature, high-performance environment where results speak for themselves.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and developing your own life sciences desk across the UK, Europe, and the US.
  • Managing the full 360 recruitment lifecycle within your specialist market.
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Working with the support of an experienced resourcer when required, allowing you to focus on billing and business development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Career Progression

The business has ambitious growth plans, with the goal of expanding to around 20 employees. If leadership is something you aspire to, there will be genuine opportunities to build and manage a team as the company grows. If management isn't your thing, that's absolutely fine too. You'll be equally supported and rewarded as a high-performing individual contributor.

Who is This Role For?

This opportunity suits an experienced life sciences recruiter who wants:

  • Greater earning potential.
  • More autonomy.
  • Less bureaucracy.
  • Better work-life balance.
  • The chance to be part of a growing boutique business where their contribution genuinely matters.

If you're consistently billing, tired of unnecessary KPIs, and looking for a business that trusts its people while paying them exceptionally well, we'd love to hear from you.
