Senior Consultant – HR Recruitment

Hybrid | 3 days a week in our Farringdon office

Ready to make your mark in HR recruitment with some seriously exciting clients?

At Handle Recruitment, we put exceptional people at the heart of the creative industries. From global music and entertainment businesses to award-winning TV and film companies, leading media brands, innovative tech businesses and household-name consumer brands, we work with some of the most exciting names in the market.

Now, we’re looking for an ambitious, high-performing Senior Consultant to help us grow our HR recruitment offering and build even more brilliant relationships across these industries.

This is a true 360 recruitment role for someone who loves the full picture — winning new business, developing trusted client partnerships, finding exceptional talent and delivering results.

You’ll have the freedom to build your desk, grow existing accounts and make your mark in a market where great people and great brands really matter. And as the team grows, there’s a genuine opportunity to step into mentoring and people management, helping shape the next generation of consultants.

What you’ll do

  • Win new business and grow existing client accounts across creative, media and tech
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with exciting brands and become a true recruitment partner to your clients
  • Source, engage and place exceptional HR talent across the market
  • Take a consultative approach to recruitment, understanding what our clients really need and delivering solutions that make an impact
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn and social media to build your network, develop your market and drive results
  • Represent Handle at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings, helping grow our profile and influence
  • Mentor and support consultants, with the opportunity to take on people management and help build a high-performing team
  • Own your targets, smash your goals and deliver an experience that makes clients and candidates want to work with you again

What we’re looking for

  • Proven recruitment experience within HR or a strong track record of success in another recruitment market
  • A natural business developer who enjoys opening doors, spotting opportunities and building relationships
  • Commercially minded, ambitious and confident taking a consultative, solution-led approach
  • Someone who thrives on being trusted with responsibility and wants to build something of their own
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring, developing and motivating others
  • Passionate about people, talent and the creative industries
  • Curious about the world our clients operate in — from music and entertainment to TV, film, media, sport, gaming, tech and consumer brands
  • Someone who wants more than just a recruitment desk. You want to make an impact, build relationships that last and have a career that keeps moving.
