You will be working in the HR Department where we are responsible for fair and compliant recruitment practices being upheld across the Early Careers processes.

We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Manager - Early Careers to join our Recruitment team in Leavesden that is available to start immediately.

What You'll Do

  • Evolve attraction and assessment approaches for early careers, addressing diversity goals, skills shortages and volume recruitment through innovative techniques.
  • Manage requisitions for early career (graduate, intern, trainee and apprentice) deliver fair and effective assessment processes, interviews, offer and preboarding, to secure quality hires.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR, external partners and procurement to align recruitment activities with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Track key hiring metrics, use data to improve processes, ensure legal/data compliance, and maintain high standards in candidate experience across all recruitment activities.
  • Manage your team through role modelling of Skanska Values and effective coaching.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • Experience of managing and evaluating early careers programmes such as graduate schemes, internships and apprenticeships.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading teams.
  • Evidence of translating business needs into early career hiring plans, devising consolidated resource plans considering internal needs, industry trends and government policy.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development or related field and/or MCIPD or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics to drive design and delivery choices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience of presenting ideas clearly, influencing senior management decision making.
  • Evidence of connecting strategic thinking to tangible outcomes.
