Salary: £29,000 to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step in your career within a busy, progressive practice? We are seeking a confident and highly capable Senior Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience to join our friendly and supportive team at Vets4Pets Penny Lane.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care.
About the Role
As a Senior Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the clinical team. You will be expected to provide excellent nursing care, support and mentor colleagues, and help maintain high clinical standards throughout the practice.
This position would suit someone who is:
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable managing a varied and busy caseload
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise/delegate effectively
- Professional and accountable in their approach to patient care
- Passionate about supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards

Essential Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Previous experience in a busy small animal practice
- Strong anaesthesia, inpatient and surgical nursing skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong organisational and delegation skills
Desirable
- Clinical coaching qualification or experience mentoring colleagues
- Experience with schedule management and workflow coordination
- Interest in developing nursing services within practice
