Senior Regulation Guidance Adviser

The team works closely with colleagues across the regulatory advice service, legal, and policy teams to develop guidance, respond to stakeholder queries and support legislative change. The team culture is collaborative, supportive and focused on delivering practical solutions that make compliance accessible and understandable.

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for someone who can analyse complex information and translate it into clear, practical guidance for a range of audiences. You will have an eye for understanding and explaining complex systems.

You will be an excellent communicator with strong judgement, an analytical mindset and the ability to build effective working relationships. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, working independently and operating impartially within a politically sensitive environment. You may currently be working in regulation, compliance, public policy, legal services, public administration, financial services, insurance, advisory services or another environment where interpreting legislation and providing guidance forms a key part of your role.

You'll bring:

• Experience developing and delivering guidance, training or advisory services.
• Experience interpreting legislation, regulations or policy requirements and advising on their practical application.
• Experience producing clear, accurate and high-quality written guidance or technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to act impartially and exercise sound judgement in sensitive situations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
