Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping Vanguard navigate an evolving regulatory landscape and deliver regulatory change across our European business. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to assess regulatory developments, understand their implications, and support the design and implementation of effective business solutions.

This role will:

  • Help Vanguard assess the implications of regulations
  • Consider how to incorporate regulatory considerations into Vanguard’s processes
  • Ensure appropriate disclosure of these activities in reporting deliverables

Ultimately this role will fulfil the mandate to effectively implement regulatory change across our European business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead change workstreams, analysing regulation to understand the key implications, and plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage activities required to deliver the project.
  • Collaborate closely with representatives across IMG (Investment Management Group), Stewardship, PRD (Portfolio Review Department), OGC (Office of the General Counsel), Data, Distribution, and Technology teams to understand where change is required to meet European regulatory requirements.
  • Produce detailed documentation to record requirements and prepare executive-level communications to summarise the high-level impact.
  • Lead workshops to design implementation solutions to incorporate considerations across the business.
  • Coach and support junior members of the team regarding best practice of business analysis and project management.
  • Develop, manage, and execute project plans (working closely with programme managers) and define the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders.
  • Benefit from coaching and mentorship from Vanguard Europe’s senior management within the Finance organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
