Senior Regulatory Operations Manager
📍 Location: London | Hybrid
📅 Contract: 12 months
🚀 Start date: 27 October 2026
⏰ Hours: 40 hours per week
A leading global technology platform is looking for an experienced Senior Regulatory Operations Manager to join its global regulatory operations function on a 12-month contract.
This is a senior, highly cross-functional role focused on developing, implementing, and scaling regulatory compliance programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
You’ll take ownership of complex programmes from strategy through to execution, working across Policy, Legal, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to respond to evolving regulatory requirements and build scalable operational solutions.
🚀 What you’ll be doing
- Lead the development and execution of large-scale regulatory and compliance programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of programmes, establishing clear operating rhythms, milestones, documentation, and accountability.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Policy, Legal, and Operations teams to align priorities and drive successful delivery.
- Analyse regulatory and operational challenges to identify opportunities for risk reduction and process improvement.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements and strategic objectives into practical, scalable operational processes.
- Use data and analysis to understand problems, identify opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
- Lead product assurance activity while maintaining strong attention to detail and a global perspective.
- Communicate programme progress, outcomes, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the wider Operations function.

🎯 What we’re looking for
- 8+ years’ experience across operations, programme/project management, management consulting, and/or related strategic operational roles.
- A strong track record of personally owning and delivering complex programmes in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
- Experience navigating large, matrixed organisations and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Experience working with teams across Product, Engineering, Data/Data Science, Policy, and Legal.
- Exposure to regulatory operations, compliance, public policy, risk, trust & safety, marketplace operations, or another regulated environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to identify problems, assess opportunities, and inform decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, written communication, and presentation skills.
- A hands-on, adaptable approach, with the ability to move quickly as priorities change.
- Ability to balance immediate operational requirements with longer-term strategic objectives.

⭐ Nice to have
- Experience within global technology, marketplaces, sharing economy, travel, mobility, fintech, or another organisation operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
- Experience scaling programmes or operational processes across multiple markets.
- SQL knowledge or experience working closely with data teams.
