Your new job
You'll be working as a Senior Reinsurance Technician / Senior Client Service Advocate for a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Reinsurance Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. Your new Brokers employ over 5000 staff in over 90 offices worldwide and pride themselves on having an entrepreneurial culture that their clients benefit from. Due to continued successful growth within the Reinsurance team, they are looking to recruit a Senior Reinsurance Technician / Senior Client Service Advocate to work within an established Reinsurance team handling a mix of cross-class business.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Reinsurance Technician / Senior Client Service Advocate will be supporting a portfolio of complex XOL and Treaty reinsurance business. This is a senior technical position that combines specialist processing expertise with mentorship and exceptional client service. Acting as a key referral point for less experienced colleagues. This role will support a multidisciplined technical role in a premium, Broker support and claims capacity working closely with Brokers, Reinsurers and a vast array of clients.

This role will incorporate the processing of Proportional and Non-Proportional accounts, managing the end-to-end technical processing activities across proportional and excess of loss business as well as processing premiums, pro-rata settlements and claims transactions, negotiating and managing claims through to settlement and closure. You will deal with a mix of risks, liaising with internal and external clients and carriers on a technical level.
The role will also include de broking, risk sign own and preparation of Stats. This is an all-incorporating Premium and claims Reinsurance technical role as well as dealing with IMR. You will be responsible for multidisciplined technical processing, incorporating Premium; Pro rata & Excess of loss claims as well as participating in client and reinsurer meetings as required. Other duties will include providing guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, acting as a trusted technical referral point.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Reinsurance technician handling Reinsurance premium and claims processing, with experience in handling a mix of Excess of Loss and Proportional and Non Proportional Treaty business.
