JSS is partnering with a specialty Lloyd's managing agent to recruit a Senior Reinsurance Technician into their growing reinsurance operations team. This is a broad, hands-on outwards reinsurance role across an international specialty portfolio. You'll work closely with actuarial, finance, claims and outwards purchasing colleagues, and you'll have real scope to help shape best practice as the team grows.

- Supporting the placement of the outwards reinsurance programme, including preparing data for reinsurer information packs
- Setting up reinsurance contracts and processing premiums and recoveries accurately within XL Pro
- Overseeing the calculation and collection of reinsurance recoveries
- Managing cash allocation, credit control and bad debt monitoring
- Delivering data for month-end, early and final close, and for Lloyd's returns including QMA, SRS and ASR
- Building strong relationships with brokers, reinsurers and internal teams
- Identifying and driving process improvements

Personal Profile
- Solid Lloyd's or London Market syndicate reinsurance operations experience
- Sound knowledge of recovery procedures from first advice to final settlement, plus credit control and aged debt
- A good understanding of Lloyd's, FCA and regulatory requirements, including Lloyd's minimum standards
- Advanced Excel skills. XL Pro experience is ideal
- Strong attention to detail, a deadline focus and a continuous improvement mindset
