Senior Reinsurance Technician
Permanent
Location: London
Salary: £70-85,000 PA
JSS are supporting an operations team of a global insurer where they are looking for a Senior Reinsurance Technician to join due to the continued growth across global entities.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approval of reinsurance contracts
- Manage and process reinsurance recoveries across a range of treaty and facultative arrangements, including excess of loss and proportional programs
- Review premium and claim calculations, including accounting classifications
- Manage aged debt and collection and payment of recoveries.
- Producing settlement details to brokers accurately and on time
- Liaise with claims and support with queries where needed
- Provide support in executing close process and delivering key reports to internal / external stakeholders.
- Assist with internal, external and reinsurance audits
- Prepare reinsurance packs for finance and operations meetings

Personal Profile:

- Significant experience working in a reinsurance operations role, with exposure to various reinsurance treaties
- Prior experience in using reinsurance systems (such as SICS, XL PRO, Clearwater Cenata)
- Strong Excel
- Experience in reinsurance systems
- Exposure to the Lloyds market and supporting on returns (desirable)
