About Praetura Group Ltd

Praetura Group was founded to provide growing and ambitious businesses with the funding and support they need to succeed. By bringing together a diverse range of financial services, we’re able to support businesses as they grow and their funding requirements evolve.

At Praetura, we know it takes more than just capital to build a great business. It takes funding on the right terms, alongside the support of people who understand the challenges of growing a business. That’s why we aim to provide More Than Money.

The Role

As a Senior Relationship Manager at Praetura, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of asset-based lending and invoice finance clients, delivering excellent client service while ensuring robust risk management throughout the client lifecycle.

Working closely with the Relationship Director and wider Praetura team, you will:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients
  • Support new business opportunities
  • Use your commercial and financial expertise to identify trends, manage risk and drive positive outcomes across your portfolio

We’re looking for somebody who can combine strong relationship management with sound commercial judgement, who is confident making decisions and influencing others, and who will help share best practice and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Key aspects of the role include

  • Ensure the security and profitability of Praetura through efficient and effective monitoring of an allocated portfolio of asset-based lending and invoice finance clients, analysing key trends and taking appropriate action where required
  • Maintain excellent standards of client service and establish strong, professional and effective relationships across the allocated portfolio
  • Ensure the transition from prospect to client is managed effectively alongside the sales and underwriting teams, ensuring an accurate and positive experience for new clients
  • Support new business activity through Introducer and Prospect visits, supporting the sales team and contributing to effective, high-quality underwriting
  • Ensure the recovery of Praetura advances in the event of client failure, acting speedily and professionally through recovery of the sales ledger and other security where required, liaising with panel solicitors and insolvency practitioners as appropriate
  • Represent the interests of Praetura both internally and externally, providing flexible support across the business as required
  • Ensure appropriate practices and procedures are followed to protect the security of the portfolio and that security is maintained at all times within Praetura systems
  • Agree appropriate operational and procedural arrangements with clients within Praetura's service offering parameters, setting operational and facility targets and conditions where appropriate
  • Monitor, review and approve funding within delegated authority levels and agreed parameters, recommending changes where appropriate
  • Review client performance regularly, including health checks and client reviews, identifying any remedial action required and ensuring agreed actions are followed through
  • Ensure best practice is shared and implemented across Praetura, contributing ideas and expertise to support continuous improvement
  • Use strong financial awareness and analysis of management information and client projections to support sound commercial and risk-based decision making
  • Build effective relationships across Praetura and act as a positive influence, sharing knowledge, ideas and successes with colleagues

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
