Senior Relationship Manager

Location: London, UK – Office Based
Department: Business Development
Reports to: Head of Business Development
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 5 days per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Novion Global is a multi-asset derivatives clearing broker, specialising in commodities and providing clients with access to global markets across Energy, Metals, Agriculture and FX.

We operate in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where strong relationships, market knowledge and the ability to identify opportunities are key to our success.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our Business Development team.

You will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams and report directly to the Head of Business Development.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years' experience within a regulated financial brokerage, trading firm or related financial-services environment, who understands the dynamics of the industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced, target-driven and commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across relevant markets.
  • Manage the full sales and relationship cycle, from initial contact through to ongoing client development.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities.
  • Thrive on complex, consultative sales and understand how to navigate sophisticated client requirements.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to maximise lead generation and commercial opportunities.
  • Attend client meetings, industry events and conferences, with flexibility to travel when required.
  • Maintain accurate client and pipeline information using CRM and internal systems.
  • Stay informed on relevant market developments and the regulatory environment.
  • Operate in accordance with applicable FCA requirements, company policies and compliance procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in financial brokerage, trading or a closely related financial-services environment.
  • Proven experience in relationship management, business development or complex sales.
  • Strong commercial instinct and the ability to identify genuine business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and results-driven, with the ability to manage your own pipeline.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine team player who enjoys working closely with Sales, Marketing and other departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • CRM experience is beneficial.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel, including occasional weekend travel where required.
  • Able to work five days per week from our London office.
