The Client

My client is a market leading FinTech business that spun-out of one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the world. Their offering is a suite of technology and investment management infrastructure services that they provide to the world's leading hedge funds and asset managers.

Their USP is a cutting edge portfolio management system that provides pre-trade analytics for pricing and risk management, as well as ongoing live risk & PnL management across all derivative asset classes. Further to this they offer a highly sophisticated OEMS, straight through processing and outsourcing for trade support, middle office, valuation control and treasury.

What You'll Do

My client is currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to serve as the primary strategic contact for one of their major hedge fund clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing trusted client relationships with Portfolio Managers and C suite executives, ensuring exceptional service delivery, identifying opportunities to enhance client value, and coordinating across multiple operational and technology teams to deliver best-in-class investment management services. The role will include:

  • Day-to-day relationship management
  • Strategic account management
  • Service delivery oversight, including triaging issues and prioritising work-streams
  • Providing operational risk & governance frameworks
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Leading collaboration between internal teams

What You'll Need

  • Significant experience managing hedge fund client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of hedge fund operations across front, middle, and back office.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, specifically in the Fixed Income; Bonds and Credit space.
  • Experience working within investment banking or fund administration facing off to hedge fund clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex client relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-focused mindset.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
