The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established, independent financial planning firm seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their growing technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner looking to play a key role within the business. You'll work closely with Financial Advisers on complex client cases, provide technical expertise, mentor junior team members, and help maintain the highest standards of client delivery.

- Produce high-quality, compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, tax, and estate planning.
- Conduct detailed technical research and provide recommendations to Financial Advisers.
- Carry out cash flow modelling and retirement planning analysis.
- Research investment funds, platforms, and providers.
- Support advisers with complex client cases and technical queries.
- Review and quality-check work where required.
- Mentor and support junior Paraplanners and Administrators.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA compliance at all times.
- Keep up to date with industry legislation, taxation, and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to process improvements and technical best practice across the team.

About You
- Minimum of 5 years' paraplanning experience.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum (Chartered or working towards is desirable).
- Excellent technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax planning, trusts, and protection.
- Strong experience writing complex suitability reports.
- Experience using industry software such as Intelligent Office, Xplan, FE Analytics, Voyant, Dynamic Planner, or CashCalc.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the wider team.
