Job Summary
Coordinates all rental activities in an assigned region. Supports telephone and walk-in customers with construction and industrial equipment rentals. Verifies that equipment is inspected before and after rental and ensures all equipment is ready for rental.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Processes regional rental orders.
- Bills customers and processes rental returns.
- Maintains files on all rental jobs.
- Manages re-rent purchase orders and the reconciliation of accounts payable invoices for re-rents.
- Handles cycle counts and inventory asset conversions for all rental products.
- Ensures inventory is repaired and maintained.
- Monitors rental transactions to track lost or stolen equipment.
- Provides support to Account Managers regarding rental equipment.
- Communicates problems to sales representatives and customers, such as shortages, delivery issues, and damages.
- Responds to customer issues and escalates concerns as needed.
- Offers guidance and feedback to Rental Coordinators.

Nature and Scope
- May modify processes to resolve situations.
- Under limited supervision, relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach to achieve desired outcomes. Course of action is often determined by interpreting procedures and policies.
- Work typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.
- Is sought out and/or assigned to provide general guidance/direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support personnel.
- Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring/firing authority.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
- Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
- Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.

$24.40-$35.50 Hourly
