Senior Repair Technician

Uxbridge, London

On-Site Warehouse Role

Position Overview

Facilitate, supervise, and conduct regional repair of Encore owned equipment. Responsible for implementing & overseeing daily and quarterly equipment repair and quality control (QC) processes. Conducts product research, performs random and planned quality control checks on regional equipment. Purchases shop-related items and provides reporting as necessary on key repair metrics. May supervise a Repair Technician. Reports into Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager subject to region.

Key Job Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

  • Oversee and perform technical & cosmetic repair and maintenance on Encore equipment and road cases.
  • Support all Quality Control processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement service/maintenance tracking and reporting system, ensuring repair progress are documented and reported; and ensuring compliance to manufacturer/warranty policy.
  • See the Bigger Picture - Maintain relationships with vendors and order necessary parts to complete repairs.
  • Establish and provide reporting on key repair metrics and ROI.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Report all HSE issues to the Warehouse Manager and HSE Manager.

Systems Knowledge:

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years technical repair experience, preferably in the audio-visual industry
  • Ability to take direction & communicate with managers and subordinates
