The Role
This lab is building the infrastructure for AI agents to learn through active experience, not static datasets. They create interactive, resettable digital environments where AI agents learn through trial and error, operating at the intersection of software engineering, simulation infrastructure, and frontier AI.
As a Senior Replication Engineer, you'll lead the effort to clone complex production systems into high-fidelity, resettable simulations. This isn't about'mostly working' solutions; any gap breaks the AI. You'll own the plan, build the tooling, and orchestrate LLM agents to achieve a pace of days per clone, not weeks. This role is for engineers who want to build the foundational fidelity for frontier AI, not just integrate existing models.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The Work
- Transform diverse production systems – from legacy enterprise apps to modern SaaS – into high-fidelity, resettable digital twins.
- Lead the technical strategy and execution for cloning new environments, targeting a pace of days per system, not weeks.
- Design and build the core tooling, AI scaffolds, and verification harnesses that ensure simulation fidelity.
- Orchestrate LLM agents to automate the generation of scrapers, glue code, and comprehensive tests.
- Set the standard for simulation accuracy; any deviation directly impacts AI agent learning and performance.
What You Bring
- Deep hands-on software engineering experience in production, with mastery of at least one typed language.
- Proven ability to take 0-to-1 technical problems, form a plan, and coordinate work across a small team.
- Practical experience with cloud systems, deployment, infrastructure, or CI/CD; ideally with Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- You actively orchestrate LLM agents to generate code and tests as part of your workflow, beyond basic prompting.
- Thrive in an early-stage, frontier AI environment with changing priorities and incomplete information.
