CreditSights is currently seeking a Senior Research Credit Analyst, Euro HY Retail, based out of our London office.

About The Team

This is a publishing role and requires a commitment to active production of credit research. The ideal candidate should have at least 5-10 years of experience in the HY credit markets. This role contemplates a focus on the fundamental analysis of debt issuers, and an emphasis on relative value.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Euro Retail and/or Consumer Goods sectors – although we will consider candidates with a proven track record in other sectors – and the ability to lead this highly visible sector as part of our Euro Consumer/Retail team. As well as being responsible for all tasks related to issuer and sector coverage, the ideal candidate will be able to manage, mentor and support the development of junior analyst team members.

- Commitment to active production of credit research with the appropriate depth, timeliness and market relevance.
- Have a deep and broad understanding of bond and issuance structures.
- Be attuned to market and sector changes and produce market relevant research.
- Be an excellent communicator and actively engage with clients, market participants and other internal and external stakeholders.
You May Be a Good Fit If
We Will Consider Any Candidate Who Demonstrates a High Level Of Competence And Motivation, Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Possessing The Following Qualifications:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of accounting and experience analysing companies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 7+ years of experience in the HY credit markets
- Seasoned communicator with experience in client-facing roles
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Highly organised, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail

- Degrees in STEM, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and FactSet
