Role
A client in the consumer insights and behavioural science industry is seeking a Senior Research Manager/Director to join the team for a contract running through to the end of year.
You will provide senior oversight across a portfolio of quantitative research projects focused on packaging and consumer packaged goods (CPG), ensuring high-quality delivery from project set-up through to reporting. Reporting into the Centre of Excellence leadership team, you will support project delivery, stakeholder management, and insight generation to help clients make informed commercial decisions.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of multiple quantitative research studies, managing timelines, priorities, and project quality.
- Lead packaging and CPG-focused survey research projects, working closely with external fieldwork suppliers.
- Review data, interpret findings, and develop clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Produce and present client-ready reports and recommendations using established reporting frameworks.
Requirements
- Significant experience in quantitative market research, ideally within a consultancy or agency environment.
- Strong background in packaging research and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG) research.
- Previous experience at Research Manager, Senior Research Manager, Associate Director, or Director level.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and clients.

Details
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Until December 31, 2026
- Day rate: £600-£750 per day (LTD), depending on experience
- Location: London, 3 days per week in office
