About the Company

We are currently seeking Editorial Board Members for “Current Advances in Robotics.” Current Advances in Robotics is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, reviews/mini-reviews, short communications, and guest-edited thematic issues in the field of robotics. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share cutting-edge advancements, innovative applications, and theoretical insights in robotics and intelligent systems. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • Autonomous and Mobile Robotics
  • Defense and Security Robotics
  • Emerging Technologies and Future Trends
  • Ethics, Safety, and Regulation in Robotics
  • Humanoid and Service Robots
  • Human-Robot Interaction (HRI)
  • Industrial and Collaborative Robotics
  • Machine Learning and AI in Robotics
  • Medical and Surgical Robotics
  • Robot Perception, Sensing, and Navigation
  • Robotic Control Systems and Mechatronics
  • Robotics for Agriculture and Environment

Current Advances in Robotics is an international, peer-reviewed journal on all aspects of robotics, published continuously (print & online) by Bentham Science Publishers.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced researchers and scientists to join us as Editorial Board Members for the journal, "Current Advances in Robotics." Actively contribute to the development and growth of the journal by providing valuable scholarly input, including the selection of topics, reviewers, and authors. Contribute/solicit Special Thematic Issues on a trending topic (one thematic issue every year). Review articles submitted to the journal (at least thrice a year) in your area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the development and growth of the journal.
  • Provide valuable scholarly input, including the selection of topics, reviewers, and authors.
  • Contribute/solicit Special Thematic Issues on a trending topic (one thematic issue every year).
  • Review articles submitted to the journal (at least thrice a year) in your area of expertise.

Qualifications

  • Scientist or researcher (PhD) with experience in research areas of Robotics and Automation.
  • At least 5 years of experience in peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers.
  • Verifiable record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in WOS Core Collection and/or Scopus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders in the English language.

Required Skills

  • Experience in research areas of Robotics and Automation.
  • Peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ability to engage with a community of scholars.

Pay range and compensation package

As an Editorial Board Member, you will be entitled to publish your papers and thematic issues, free of cost.
