Senior Residential Services Associate
Build to Rent
Leeds
Cobalt is recruiting a Senior Residential Services Associate to join an established Build to Rent operator at a residential development in Leeds.
This is a varied, resident-facing role combining customer service, front-of-house responsibilities, and the day-to-day operation of a Build to Rent development. You will be a key point of contact for residents, supporting them throughout their experience while helping ensure the building operates effectively.
The organisation
Our client is an established operator within the Build to Rent sector, focused on delivering a high-quality resident experience.
The Senior Residential Services Associate will join a collaborative front-of-house team and work closely with colleagues, contractors, and other teams across the business.
The role offers:
- A 40-hour working week and a competitive salary
- Shifts of either 8:00am–5:30pm or 11:00am–8:00pm.
- One Saturday shift as required, with a weekday provided back in lieu.

As Senior Residential Services Associate, you will provide a welcoming and effective service to residents while supporting the operation of the development.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing front-of-house support, including meeting and greeting residents, reception duties, and parcel handling.
- Managing day-to-day resident enquiries and complaints, escalating these where appropriate.
- Supporting resident move-ins and move-outs, including property checks.
- Assisting with lettings activity, including viewings and the process from offer acceptance through to move-in.
- Coordinating bookings for amenity spaces and supporting the management of shared areas.
- Liaising with contractors, cleaning teams, and maintenance operatives.
- Supporting resident engagement activities and events.
- Maintaining accurate handover information and records relating to keys, parcels, and visitors.
- Supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the Build to Rent development.
Skills and experience
For this Senior Residential Services Associate opportunity, we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing environment, such as Build to Rent, residential property, hospitality, or travel and tourism.
- Build to Rent or wider property experience is preferable but not essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Experience working effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to manage competing tasks while maintaining customer service standards.
- A working knowledge of customer service and handling customer enquiries.
- A Property or customer service qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
