About Us

With one of our children’s homes recently rated Good by Ofsted (January 2026), there has never been a better time to join us.

We are opening a new Residential Children’s Homes for children aged 8-18 with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties (EBD) and we are looking for a passionate Senior Residential Care Practitioner to join us.

Whether you’re a Senior Care Practitioner, or an experienced Care Practitioner looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.

Our senior leaders bring extensive knowledge and experience in Children’s Residential care and are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment that enables our children and young people to reach their aspirations, goals and outcomes. We use the PACE model to ensure our support is therapeutic, person-centred, and tailored to each child’s needs.

We focus on providing exceptional care while fostering an inclusive, positive environment where children can grow emotionally, personally, and educationally.

About the Role

We’ll provide a comprehensive induction and training ahead of the home’s opening, including a funded Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare, where needed.

With guidance and support from our Registered Managers, as well as managing daily routines, you will also lead and inspire a team of Care Practitioners to act as role models to our children and young people.

You will assist our Care Practitioners to address challenges, build the children’s resilience and you won’t think twice about going above and beyond to enable our children and young people to achieve their full potential on their journey to adulthood.

In this highly rewarding role, by providing our children and young people with a safe, supportive, stable and stimulating environment, you will help to create a strong foundation for a brighter future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
