What Will You Do?
As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you'll help us set the tone in an established Children's Home. You will help the care team provide both vision and stability and use your experience and therapeutic knowledge to craft a nurturing environment that feels like a true home for our young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Guidance: Mentor and support a team of residential childcare workers, instilling best practices and a therapeutic approach to daily interactions.
- Therapeutic Care: Implement strategies that promote emotional and psychological well-being, tailoring care to the unique needs of each child.
- Community Building: Help create a safe, inviting home atmosphere where every child can thrive.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic care that supports all aspects of a child's development.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with a solid background in residential childcare, with hands-on experience in supporting managing the complexities of a children’s home. You will bring a deep-seated passion for using therapeutic approaches in the care of young people. Holding a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential for the SRCCW post.
