Senior Residential Conveyancer
Bristol
Salary - £65k
Yolk Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded and well-established law firm with the recruitment of an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its successful Residential Property team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, FCILEx or CLC-registered Conveyancer who enjoys managing a varied residential property caseload while also taking on greater responsibility within an established team.
As a Senior Residential Conveyancer, you will manage matters from initial instruction through to post-completion, providing an excellent level of client care throughout. You will also play an important role in supporting and mentoring colleagues, maintaining strong client relationships and helping the wider Residential Property team continue to deliver a high-quality service.
This is what you will be doing
As a Senior Residential Conveyancer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.
- Handling residential property matters efficiently while maintaining excellent client care and meeting key deadlines.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, referrers and other professional contacts.
- Supporting, mentoring and assisting junior colleagues, with responsibility for supervising the team when required.
- Working closely with Legal Secretaries, Paralegals and Trainee Paralegals to ensure matters progress smoothly and accurately.

The experience you will bring to the team
You will bring the following experience to the Residential Conveyancing team:
- Qualified as a Solicitor, FCILEx or CLC-registered Conveyancer, with strong residential conveyancing experience.
- Ideally around 6 years' PQE or equivalent experience, although applications from candidates with suitable experience at other levels will be considered.
- A detailed understanding of residential property law and the ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload.
- Strong organisational, communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively to deadlines.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior members of a Residential Property team would be advantageous.
